The YGGY, in its XC configuration, is designed for technical trail riding while remaining fully capable in competitive mountain bike racing.
Crafted from ash wood, the YGGY hollow frame consists of 10 CNC-machined wooden elements, reinforced with carbon inserts at critical interfaces—bottom bracket, seatpost, headset, and rear wheel interface.
Most wooden elements are connected via high-strength finger joints, bonded with aerospace-grade epoxy adhesive.
Protected by a UV-resistant polyurethane varnish, the wooden frame can be cleaned with water like any conventional bike.
The YGGY is designed for cross country and trail. It surprises with its lively feel and impressive responsivness, comparable to carbon frames. Its balanced stiffness offers a ride that is both responsive and comfortable—rigid enough for power transfer without being harsh.
